Exciting News!!! My blog is up and running again. I know its been a while since my last post, but I’m back and I’m better!!
As some of you know from following my social media, I am recently engaged!! I am super excited to be marrying my best friend. We were leaving for a flight to Las Vegas for my birthday trip earlier this year and he proposed to me at the airport. I’m telling you I have never been happier. It was the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. (Here’s a pic of the ring.) Our wedding is 5 months away so, I’ve been extremely busy with the planning. You will read more about that in the upcoming posts. I have the cutest cake pop favor idea for the Bridal Shower.
Wedding business aside , I want to answer a question that I have been asked a lot in the last 2 years.
“Sooo…What’s a cake pop anyway?!”
You will not believe how many times I have been asked this question. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been asked-well you all know how the saying goes.
Cake pops are bite-sized balls made of crumbled cake, mixed with frosting , assembled on a lollipop stick and dipped in a candy coating. They are pretty much the same concept of cake balls. The lollipop stick makes the dipping process a breeze.
Cake Pops were created in 2007 by the famous internet blogger , Angie Dudley, also known as Bakerella. They hit the main stream after her debut on Martha Stewart and have been a sensation ever since. Cake pops have so many customization options, making them the perfect treat for any occasion.
